The back on the sample quilt is a charcoal chevron flannel. These cotton topped kits are for you if you like a slightly lighter weight quilt and are not a fan of the pilling associated with flannels. If you choose to use a 1\/2\" seam allowance your quilt will be much larger but will be less fluffy. The choice is yours.
