This rag quilt features pretty green, black, gray and white printed Quilters COTTONS with a white minky dot. This quilt also features 3 professionally finished sheep appliques. The back is a soft tie dye gray flannel. This quilt measures a generous 36" x 36", the perfect size from birth to toddler. Every square is quilted with an "x" and seams are clipped to expose layers of gorgeous fringe. My quilts are made with a large seam allowance and 3 layers of fabric to ensure a full and warm quilt. I have washed it once to start the ragging process, which will only get prettier with each washing. My quilts use a surprising amount of fabric to achieve this fluffy look and I strive for only the highest in quality and craftsmanship. Please note: rag quilts are made using hundreds of strands of raw edges to makes the fluffy edges. This will produce an excessive amount of lint and shedding in brand new rag quilts. It takes 2-3 washings to completely wash out and then it will no longer shed any lint. Rag quilts can be washed in cold and dried on high heat.
